Meeting Minutes: (Next Meeting: , September 10, 2002, Excapees RV Park) Minutes of the 8/13/02 Meeting of the Tri Area R.C. Flyers The meeting started at 6:30PM at the SKP Clubhouse. Attending were Wylie, Anliker, Allen, Fitch, Granger, Pyles, G. Smith, Nodell, Greene, Merrill, Stuck, Takata, Petersen, Calkins, Benjamin, B. Smith, Poling, Downs, Bolling, Moffet and Jenks. The Treasurer’s report showed assets of $2661.32, comprised of $2051.32 in the bank and $610 in fuel inventory. The fuel supply consists of 12 gal of %10, 28 of 15% and 4 of FS. The first order of business was to welcome Jesse Jenks and Nate Moffett into the club as new members. President Wylie reported that 4 benches have been constructed and there are plans to build 5 more. It was decided that a collection would be taken up to purchase lumber for 3 more benches and $76 was collected. Pete Granger and Russ Petersen graciously added $29 to make up a total of $105. There was a brief discussion of the Fun Fly to be held on Sept. 14. Russ Petersen agreed to be the CD for the event. Bruce Pyles was the clear winner of the Crash-of-the-Month Trophy and he has the distinction of taking the dubious art of prevarication and obfuscation to new heights. The short meeting was adjourned and a Show and Tell
session was held for the benefit of the SKP community. It was a very enjoyable event with many models displayed and a
lot interest from the community. Submitted by Bill Anliker, Sec/Treasurer | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
