INDOOR FREE-FLIGHT AT PORT TOWNSEND AERO MUSEUM 2023
This event happened as the new 5000 sq. ft. addition to the Museum’s main display building was being completed. We had three Friday afternoons to fly rubber-powered free-flight models, from Feb 24 to Mar 10. The Tri-Area RC Flyers is not an indoor or free-flight club, but many of our members enjoy the change of pace that is provided by the simpler rubber powered models, not to mention the predictable weather conditions inside a building. Many thanks to the Museum staff for allowing us this opportunity. A few weeks later will see many full scale aircraft filling this space.

Vern B. flying his Limited Penny Plane on a 2:27 Flight. Says Vern, "It was designed by Cezar Banks in 1983. He got 13 minutes with it in the Kibbie Dome in 1983, I expect my times will be much lower. It is one of the early designs that established the limited penny plane class event."
